Robert Ezzell (Bob), of Bulverde,Threads of Love Looking For Volunteers & Donationshreads of Love was established in 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Threads of Love has since grownacross the country through multiple satellite chapters. Threads of Love provides clothing, blankets, quilts and other handmade articles for tiny premature and sick infants. When a parent is faced with the death of an infant through miscarriage, infant death or stillbirth, they reach out to them with a gift showing God’s love through their sewing skills, silently saying “you are loved.”All materials and labor are donated by volunteers, making this mission possible. Threads of Love is always looking for volunteers of all ages, in fact, they just celebrated Ms. Pat’s 90th Birthday who volunteers. It’s very informal. So come comfy and even if you just stay an hour to help, they would be thrilled to have you. You don’t have to be able to sew, there are many steps necessary to complete every project, from sewing, cutting, ironing, organizing, packing, etc. The Bulverde chapter meets every Thursday from 9:30am to 1:30pm at 33300 Hwy. 281 N. in the Club House. Not everyone can donate time and that’s okay. Other ways to donate to help ensure this amazing ministry continues topassed away December 7, 2025.BSubmitted By Tami Wolffob was born on July 8, 1941, andy Julie Zookattended Brackenridge High School, and then served in the U.S.Navy.He worked for Lawson Products for30 years, then started his second career, delivering mail for the Spring Branch Post Office, where he made lots of great friends and was loved by all.Bob was known for his great sense of humor. This new mandate is meant to give homeowners more information, more control, and fewer surprises. In the past, some HOAs made it difficult to find their rules. A homeowner might have had to email someone, wait days for a reply, or even pay for copies. Now, an HOA must put all its rules online where a person can see them anytime. This includes things like: What a person can and can’t do with their yard, parking rules, architectural rules, and bylaws and restrictions. As a result, homeowners shouldn’t be surprised by rules they didn’t know existed. They should be able to check the rules easily, anytime, without waiting on the HOA. This legislation also made it harder for an HOA to enforce rules that aren’t posted.Earlier law protected solar panel installation, but some HOAs tried to block solar roof tiles— the kind that look like regular shingles but make electricity. New law says HOAs can’t stop you from installing these tiles. In addition, when a homeowner sells the house, the buyer will need a resale certificate. This is a packet of information the HOA must give that explains: how much the HOA dues are, whether you owe any money, whether you have any violations, what fees the buyer will pay, the HOA’shelp families are:* Fabric (Fleece, Cotton and Flannel)* Yarn (3 Ply)* Crochetters* Maintenance/ Sewing Machine Cleaners* Cash donations (Tax deductible)All donations can be mailed or dropped off to: 1257 Frontier, Spring Branch, TX 78070.For any questions, please contact Jan Mobley at 210-325-4949 or JMOBLEY@ GVTC.COMSymptoms of Common Heart ConditionsCBy StaffDisease Control and Prevention. Globally, CVDs were responsible for around 19 million deaths in 2022. In the United States, heart disease affects around 128 million adults. Learning to recognize symptoms of potential heart conditions can ensure people know when to take action that may prevent further problems down the road.Heart conditions can present in many ways, and symptoms of various conditions can overlap. This general guide, based on data from the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic, serves as a warning and not a diagnosis. Those with any sudden, severe or “not right” symptoms are urged to seek immediate medical attention.• Coronary artery disease: CAD can result in chest pain (angina), often with exertion. Shortness of breath, fatigue, and pain that may radiate to the arm, jaw, neck, or back are possible.• Myocardial infarction (heart attack): A heart attack can produce different symptoms in men and women, so it’s best to treat any out-of-the-ordinary signs with caution. Intense chest pressure or squeezing; pain spreading to arms, jaw, back, or stomach; shortness of breath; nausea; cold sweats, lightheadedness; fatigue; or back pain merit medical attention.financial health, and all the HOA’s rules. This requirement protects you and the buyer. It basically tells the buyer, “Here’s everything you need to know about this home and this HOA before you buy it.” And because HOAs must now post their rules online, the resale certificate is more likely to be accurate. Buyers can doublecheck the rules themselves, which makes selling your home smoother and less stressful.Plus, Texas now puts a limit on how much HOAs can charge for this paperwork. The maximum fee for a resale certificate (i.e. packet of information) is $375. If the certificate needs to be updated later, the HOA can charge up to $75. They cannot charge more.In short, new law makes HOAs more transparent and gives homeowners more control and fewer headaches.• Heart failure: Those experiencing heart failure may have persistent shortness of breath; swelling in legs, feet or abdomen; rapid weight gain from fluid retention; fatigue; and difficulty lying flat due to breathing trouble.• Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat):Irregular heartbeat can lead to palpitations or fluttering of the heart; dizziness or fainting; shortness of breath; chest discomfort; and fatigue.• Atrial fibrillation (AFib): AFib is an irregular and often rapid heart rhythm that starts in the heart’s upper chambers. It can cause fast heartbeat; fatigue; shortness of breath; dizziness; and chest discomfort.Heart conditions can lead to a variety of symptoms, many of which will overlap. For a thorough diagnosis, it is best to first see a primary care physician, who may then refer patients to a cardiologist.ardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death around the world, indicates the Centers for8www.bsbhighlights.comFebruary 2026
