Echoes Of A Caring MomentABy Sonny Melendrezs I entered Walmart recently, I was greeted by a lovely lady named Jeanette. With a bright smile, sheexcitedly told me, “We met over 30 years ago!”She went on to explain that our paths had first crossed during a concert I was emceeing at Sea World in San Antonio. After introducing the band, I stepped off stage and noticed her young son, Eric, trying to see above the crowd. Without hesitation, I lifted him onto my shoulders so he could enjoy the show. It was a spontaneous moment—a small gesture of care.Jeanette told me that Eric, now grown, has never forgotten it.That simple encounter brought back a powerful truth: the smallest thoughtful gestures often leave the deepest impressions.
