Recognized for her dynamic work as a writer, actor, and producer, Stier is a rising force in independent storytelling across film, theater, and audio.Stier spent her formative years in San Antonio, Texas, attending middle and high school in the city. She is a graduate of Ronald Reagan High School, where she was deeply involved in both the theater, under the tutelage of Gloria Robinson (fondly called GRob) and choir programs. It was in those classrooms and rehearsal halls that her passion for storytelling first took root — a passion that would go on to fuel a career spanning film, stage, and screen. Noah Baumbach), Swiss Army Man (dir. Daniel Scheinert & Daniel Kwan), The Diary of a Teenage Girl (dir. Marielle Heller), and Super (dir. James Gunn) – Stier serves as Head of Development, and oversees development on a slate of bold, genre- defying projects. Working closely with Tommy across film and television, Stier gained invaluable experience in the creative and production process at the highest level of the industry.A nationally recognized playwright, Stier’s theatrical work has been produced across the country, including Last Night in Town (Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Off- off Broadway), Peach Pie (Queens Theatre), Home Girls (Ophelia’s Jump), and Callback (Alaska’s Valdez Theatre Festival). Her play Callback was adapted for the screen by Whole of the Moon Productions.
