A 3-year Varsity starter, Fletcher hasbeen playing football since he was a kid. “I always loved watching and playing with my dad and brother,” he said.Fletcher has racked up 7 interceptions and 35 pass break-ups to date in his Varsity career. And he’s not done yet as the Rattlers are 7-0 and going strong this season. “The best part of playing Reagan football is the family bond betweeen the players and the great coaches we have,” Fletcher said. Head Coach Lyndon Hamilton cannot say enough positive things about him. “Bailey is one of the most dependable young men I’ve coached in 25 years. He handles his business on and off the field, is humble and possesses great character,” Hamilton said. “Bailey has earned the trust of his teammates and coaches - a trust is still earned at Reagan.”Over the years Fletcher has been greatly influenced by his trainer, Bernard Blake, also known as ‘Bam’. “Bam has been like another father figure in my life,” he said. “He’s given me someone to go to if I have questions about anything from football to life in general.”Next year Fletcher plans on attending Rice University on a football scholarship, hoping to major in sports marketing.“I wantBailey Fletcherto play football as long as I can and then hopefully become a sports agent,” he said.
