Someone you can count on? Someonewho is honest? Hardworking? Someone who thinks more of others than himself? Someone whoreaches out and gives hugs and love?My father was all of that and more... having lived a long life, he served in WWII for 5 1/2 years. As a veteran he was very proud of his country. He would ask us to stand uptall and salute him, all in jesting of course. My father was proud of his family. He was very active most of his life and loved to watch my sister and I play, sing in the chorus at school, and taught us to take care of ouryard! Most of all, recall your own father andwhat did he leave as a legacy for you to follow throughout your own life. The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacyThe future generations are who matter most. We live now to lead our children and grandchildren toward better lives. To lives that are meaningful. To lives that are well spent.Passing on a positive and affirming legacy improves family ties throughout generations.Think about what is important to you and your family? Is it your health? Is it your beliefs? Is itFriendly?your time spent with family and friends? To be a role model and leave a legacy means that each day you live life to thefullest.Take time to recognize your father and/or your favorite role model.Call today for a consultation.Ann H.
