They’re wild and grow with ease.It’s early in the morn.The grass is glistening. The dew makes the land shine. Birds sing and I’m listening.Morning is so quiet. Night is no longer clinging. The sun is coming up. From grass deer are springing.The sky is beautiful.It’s turning orange and gold. The light flows in the house. It shimmers and it’s bold.I love the morning scents With coffee on the stove, Bacon sizzling in the pan And coffeecake with clove.Butterflies now appear.I watch them while we eat. They dance in front of us With our cat at my feet.Morning is a fine time. The day becomes so bright.
